PM inaugurates three redeveloped railway stations of Jharkhand
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday virtually inaugurated Govindpur Road, Rajmahal, and Shankarpur railway stations in Jharkhand that were redeveloped at a cost of over ₹21 crore, officials said. The three stations were among the 103 Amrit Bharat stations across the country inaugurated by PM Modi.

Supreme Court Notice on Jamshedpur Industrial City
Supreme Court of India has issued a notice to the Jharkhand government in response to a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by senior advocate Prashant Bhushan. The PIL challenges the designation of Jamshedpur as an “industrial city”, governed independently from the standard municipal framework, under Section 481 of the Jharkhand Municipal Act, 2011.
