The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has uncovered a significant set of 11 ancient Satavahana-era inscriptions in the Peddapalli forest region of Telangana, dating from the 1st century BCE to the 6th century CE. These inscriptions are critical to understanding the socio-political and religious dynamics of the Deccan during the rule of the Satavahanas and their contemporaries, like the Chutu dynasty.
