MLA Saryu Roy has made a fervent appeal for renegotiating Tata Lease Renewal agreement concerning land in Jamshedpur. The lease, originally renewed in 2005 retrospectively, is under scrutiny for incorporating alleged unconstitutional clauses and failing to provide adequate public grievance redressal mechanisms. Roy emphasised that the terms of such crucial agreements should undergo public consultation and align with the Bihar Land Reforms Act.
