Ranchi, May 18 – In a moment of pride for Jharkhand, two of its Members of Parliament – Dr Nishikant Dubey (Godda) and Bidyut Varan Mahto (Jamshedpur) – have been selected for the Sansad Ratna Awards 2025, which honour outstanding performance in the Indian Parliament.
The Jharkhand government has approved a new scheme aimed at empowering its lower-level administrative workforce. This scheme, known as the Jharkhand Mobile Allowance Scheme, grants financial support to officials for mobile purchases and monthly recharges, reinforcing the push for efficient e-governance.
India is now setting its sights on airborne systems in a significant stride towards quantum-secure communication. The Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) and Synergy Quantum India have signed an MoU to jointly develop Quantum Key Distribution for Drones, targeting secure, next-generation telecom solutions. This innovative partnership supports the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and cements India’s ambition to be a global technology leader.
Two state-of-the-art laboratories—Jackfruit Processing Laboratory and Honey Testing Laboratory—were inaugurated at the ICAR Palandu Research Center. Supported by both the Jharkhand State Government and the Government of India, these initiatives aim to empower farmers with better post-harvest infrastructure and scientific support.
